Welton/ Dacey from Ballymartle

There are 2 public member trees on ancestry.com (Mullen & Welton) which have this family; can you get access to ancestry?

If you can't I can attach the pages an email but can't upload to this page

I couldn't verify any of the records from the ancestry trees on the site www.rootsireland.ie/ - neither Michael or Mary's birth/baptism or the marriage.

The Tithe Applotments (1823-37) which are free to search online have no Weltons or Daceys in Cork

There was a record of the marriage of Mary Deacy in Mayo 1846 (but not to Michael)  

Maybe you could contact the tree owners to find out their sources?

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your interest. I am on Ancestry, and probably the Welton acct. you saw is mine. The Mullen acct. may be the one a cousin owns. I have alot of information about my family here in America. They settled in Wright Co., Minnesota and many generations of the family continued to live there, up to my Dad's time, for me. I am just starting to try to unravel the Ireland side of things. I am just learning how to check the available records, and just barely learning the geography of the parts of Ireland my family came from.

I notice your family comes from Mayo. One half of my Great Great Grandparents come from Mayo. The are McAlpines and McKeowns. I have not done as much with them, as another cousin has done extensive work , and was kind enough to share.
