If you got to the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie/ and search for Coghlan 1826 Clonakilty & scroll through the results you'll find a baptism record of Bat Coghlan with parents James Coghlan & Mary Lordan from Clonakilty 1826

Further down there is a Pat Coghlan & a strange one with mother only from Hill Street

So looks like there's a choice of 2

www.rootsireland.ie/ has 28 Coghlans born in Cork 1826 but none from Clonakilty

There are 2 marriages of Coghlan to Ellen Donovan but they are too late -  both 1876 - 1 in Tipperary & 1 in Waterford

www.irishgenealogy.ie/ has a couple of baptisms of Ellen Donovan 1828 in Clonakilty
