Mary Cashman born sometime around 1815-20 married Maurice Healy around 1838 I cannot find marriage record
They lived in Donaghmore.
They had Two Sons Maurice 1839 & William 1842 - baptism records confirm dates
Maurice, the father, died around 1843 and Mary Cashman was then married to John Ahern 1844
They had 5 children reorded on Roots / baptism - all baptised in Inniscarra
Denis b 1851 sponsors William and Elizabeth Cashman
John b 1849 Sponsors Patrick and Catherine Cashman
Daniel 1853 sponsors Denis and Margaret Cashman
Michael 1847 sponsors James Dela and Julia Cashman
Ellen 1845 sponsors John Ahern and Abigail Cashman
I have been unable to tie down Mary Cashman mother of these Healy/Ahern children
Does anyone have any infomation about her family?
there is a Maurice Healy in North Pluckane in the Griffiths Valuation record - possibly data recorded before he died but published posthumously? or maybe just another Maurice Healy.
Any help with the Cashman family from Early 1800s around Donaghmore greatlfully appreciated

Like you I was unsuccessful finding the marriage record on Roots even though they have the Donaghmore and Inniscarra RC records. Maybethe name was mistranscribed. It may be worth your time to go through the registers to make sure. Possibly Mary was from another parish and the marriage took place in that parish.
If Maurice died in 1843, I think it would be unlikely that his name would still be on the property 7-9 years later when the Griffiths survey was conducted. Likely another Maurice.
