Joseph Hara was born in County Cork in 1796; converted to God at the age of 18 (1814) (Wesleyan Methodist?). Per a descendant he was born in Bantry but there is no source. Joseph emigrated to Canada in 1818, and settled in Cornwall, Ontario, where he was married. This information comes from an article written a few years after his death in 1881. I found a Joseph Hara in Maulashangarry, Fanlobbus in the Tithe Applotment book, but it was at a later date, 1826. Any help in locating Joseph Hara - 1796 will be very much appreciated!
