Thomas Carey

I have reached a "brickwall" with my great-great grandfather Thomas Carey born about 1811 Dunmanway, Keimaneigh Pass, Co Cork, Ireland. Don't know if he married in Ireland or in Massachusetts, USA, but he arrived in Rhode Island, USA in 1836. One item I have in my notes from some years ago was his parents may have been John and Mary Carey.

His wife was Bridget Curtin born about 1820 Ballingeary, Dunmanway, Co Cork,Ireland--would this be the parish of Fermoy???

I'd like to pinpoint his Catholic church, records, any information etc.thanks!!
