I'm struggling to find records for my 2x Great Grandmother, Ellen Casey. I know from Baptism records for Fermoy 1829 she was living wth father John Casey, mother Ellen Walsh at 11? Barrack Hill, Fermoy.
Are there any other records that might have them at this address and which might name siblings and indicate how long they stayed there?
Of course they may have been staying with relatives / friends at that address but that also could help my research.
Any help would really be appreciated.

Barrack Hill was where an army garrison was located in Fermoy. John Casey was probably in the British army; The family may have moved around Ireland or may have gone to the England/Scotland.
I looked at the baptismal record for Ellen. The mother was called Alice Casey, but a notation said that she was also known as "Allen," which I imagine should be "Ellen."

David,
While the record on the paysite rootsireland.ie says Alice Casey, the church record clearly says Ellen Casey. The 11? that you have is actually 10 and is the date of baptism rather than an address. I couldn't find any siblings for Ellen. While Barrack Hill was (is) close to the barracks, there were non-army people living there also. While Barrack Hill seems a very specific place, there are a number of streets in the area (maybe 10) that are also referred to as Barack Hill, e.g. Barrack Street, Church Hill, Casement Row, etc. As a result, it can be difficult to track a person. However, I could find no suitable candidate in the area. I also searched headstone records up to 1900 and burial records from 1900 to 1940 and there was no record for Ellen or her parents. As Patricia says, maybe John was in the army and moved on. I will let you know if I find anything further.
Best wishes, Kieran Jordan, Fermoy.
