The National Library of Ireland has placed all RC parish registers online. Here is the link to the Fermoy register. I would search for the baptismal record for Cornelius and the parents names should be listed possibly in Latin.

Roger McDonnell

It's strange but a Roger McDonnell was a witness for the marriage of Cornelius M ullane and Catherine McDonnell in Fermoy.

Roger is not a common name in Ireland but my great-grandfather who lived in the Mayo/Roscommon border area was a Rodger and there were at least two others Roger/Rodger McDonnells in the area which complicated research. I live in Maryland.
