I am looking for any records relating to my ancestor Henry Flanigan. He was born in Fermoy in c1796. He was convicted of fraud and transported to New South Wales in 1819 aboard the Daphne. He married Catherine Black in 1826 and they had 3 children. In 1831 Henry went to sea aboard the vessel "Ocean" He travelled to Tasmania then on to Valparaiso, Chile. When the ship arrived the owner/captain lost ownership of the vessel and Henry and the crew were stranded. He never made it back to his family.

I would like to know if there is an record of him returning to Fermoy, or anything relating to his original conviction. I did find a person by this name being charged with bigamy around the same time and wonder if it may have been him, And of course any other family in Fermoy.

Thank you
