Have you tried looking at Church records in Inchgeelagh parish for information? Most Catholic records are held locally so you could try writing to the local parish priest for possible assistance.. One website which you may find helpful is the Irish Times website where they give an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. For Inchigeelagh/Iveleary parish follow this link:

The O'Leary clan gathering is held there every Sept. Usually the first week end. I am attending again this year Sept. 4th to the 6th. My ancestors are also Leary and Sullivan. I found their church records in Adrigole, Cork. It is west of Bantry Bay and near the county Kerry and Cork border. I also used Gerard Neary to help me. Have a great day; Joe O'Leary

Hi Joe..I was so happy to hear from you about the O'Leary-Sullivan connection.  If possible I would like to connect via email and share knowledge. Sounds like a great time at the clan gathering.  I will nt be able to attend this year as I will be in Italy. I do not know who Gerard Neary is or how to ask for his help.
