I am searching for information on my ancestors the Coveney of Kilbrittain. I've birth records for my great grand father and his siblings but not a marriage record. The parents were Edmund "Ned" Coveney and Mary Scully. The birth records I found are: Catherine 7/1816, John 11/12/1818, Edmund 6/21/1821, Daniel 12/10/1828, Margaret 7/14/1831, Norry 1/25/1835 and my great grandfather Denis M. Coveney 10/18/1838. Dennis immigrated to the U.S. about 1864. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. Debbie.

Hello again!
The Kilbrittain records start in 1810 so if they were married in that parish, the record should show up. You may want to review the parish register http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0064 to see if you can find the record. It is possible that Mary Scully was from a different parish and the marriage occurred in that parish and records do not go back that far. Both parishes on either side of Kilbrittain have records starting later than 1816.
