I am stuck right now with my family history that is in Ireland. I thought I only had one line that went into Ireland but have since found I have several. I could use any help, tips, or advice on where to look and what to do to further my research. I have tried rootsireland.ie, findmypast.com and I use ancestry.com regularly. Here are the names I'm trying to get further with:
1. William Robertson (3rd great grandfather) born 1839 in Leitrim. He died in Scotland. I would love to get his birth record or christening record so that I could get an actual birthdate and confirm his parents names. I would also like to know if there were siblings.
2. William Robertson (William's father) born in Ireland. I would love to get his marriage record to see if it says where he was born in Ireland and when. Also I'd like to see if it would have his parents listed.
3. Anne Golden (William's mother) born 6 Feb. 1817 Leitrim. I would love to see a birth record or christening record to see if her parents were listed or her marriage record.

Hello Lisa,
If you go to www.rootsireland.ie you will find the baptismal record for Anne Golden in 1817 in Co. Leitrim.
You will need jto purchase this record (about €5) to see her parents names.
