I am searching  for the Michael burke parents  estimated his birth  abt 1865  in North  cork .  . As he emgiated  to new york in 1884 abt . mothers name possilble Ellen 

 

we know  he had  family connections in doneraile to Kennedy/ fitzgerald .   hannah   kennedy  born 1881 in doneraile also emgrated to  new york in 1903  and met  michael burke  there.

 

hannah kennedy parents are  david  kennedy & bridget  fitzgerald

  • Hi  did you search on www.rootsireland.com ? Or arrival records from www.castlegarden.or , Castlegarden often gives the place where the people lived.

    Or try to find a marriage registration for Michael and  Hannah on http://italiangen.org/ ( Not only  Italian New York records) If you find the date of the marriage you might be able to obtain the official marriage certificate with their parents name and place of residence.
