Arthur Carson born 1820 came from County Down in the mid1800s. he married twice..His parents were Alice Quinn and Samual Carson.

 He was the founder of Carsonville Michigan..he was buried in Michigan in 1886

 His spouse was Jane Cowan born 1849 whose family came from Nenagh.Her brother was John Cowan born 1841.

Her mother was Tryphena Clark.

 I want to know tmy ancestor location - which parish or area of Ireland were they from and what was their occupation.

 any help would be very appreciated.

    Thank you for your query. Did your family emigrate? and if so was it to the USA or Canada? I would recommend the same route of investigation that I gave you in a previous message and that would be to start with the emigration records. Remember to post as much information as you can with regard to the people you are researching.
