Hello

I am trying to find any members of the O'Brien family. What area of Cork they may have come from etc.The only information I have is that a Michael O'Brien had a son named John who was born abt 1848. They used the names Michael and John many times through the generations. I don't know if Michael came to London, but John did. I am completely stuck and have no idea where to begin in trying to find their family background in Ireland. All I have is Cork as an area. Have searched other records but cannot get a lead.

    There are 2 John O'Brien & 3 John Brien with father Michael Cork baptism records on www.rootsireland.ie/

    The O'Briens are 1848 & 1849 & the Briens are 1847 (X2) & 1848

    The 1848 O'Brien is from Youghal R C parish

    The 1849 is from Grenagh RC.
