I am trying to trace details of William Lee born around 1800 possibly in Cork.
He fathered a son in 1830 named James Lee in Cork and we know by 1841 James was living in Bristol. Did the whole family move?
Also who was William Lee's wife?

Have you tried looking at www.rootsireland.ie to search parish records. Part of co. cork are here. Also www.irishgenealogy.ie (free) the other half of the records are here.
Also look at familysearch.org (free)
