I'm looking for any information on my great great grandfather John Brennan (Brenan, Brenin) who emigrated to USA in 1852.
He married Catharine Collins in about 1853 in the US. She was from Green, Kilbarry, Dunmanway, County Cork. She was baptized June 22, 1834.
She emigrated in 1849 or 1850.
They ended up in Ohio by 1855.
He was born in November 1814. Is said to have been from County Cork.
Various dates given are taken from documents, but may not be correct.
Thank you.

Hi Richard
I checked www.rootsireland.ie/ (a subscription site) for a birth/baptism of John Brennan 1814 & I'm afraid there were 14 records but none from Cork & none in November.
The only November record from Cork was Nov 24th 1810 DONOUGHMORE R C Parish parents Dennis Brennan & Ellen Cogan.
There are a couple of possibilities on a free site www.irishgenealogy.ie/ in the church records section from Cork & Ross parish:
There are various spellings of Brennan in the 1810 - 1820 range including 1 in May1814 parents Daniel Brennan & Eliza McCormack.
