Barnesmore area

My great-grandparents are Alice Bradley Donegan and Michael Donegan.  Alice (nee Bradley) was born 1859 died in 1888.  He was born in about 1843 in County Antrim.  Together they had 4 children, Kate b 1882, emigrated to New York in about 1890. John Patrick  was born 1883.  Hugh was born in 1885 and died at 18 mos in 1886.  Theri last child was Michael born in 1887. 

The father Michael shows in the 1901 census in Ballyshannon as a widower, RC Master stone mmason living with his sons, John Patrick and Michael.  John Patrick is a house painter and Michael is in school.  John Patrick emigrated to New York and died there in 1915.

In the census of 1911 Michael and his son Michael at in Londonderry.  Michael ia a contracter and builder.  Alice is buried in Donegal in St Agatha's churchyard.  There is a notation on the headstone "Michael Donegan died 1920."  It does not say which Michael Donegan or if he is buried in the same grave as Alice.
