Mulloy from Laghy

I looked at the Tithe Applotment listings for Drumhome parish but did not locate a Malloy/Molloy/Mulloy record. I looked at the 1858 Griffiths Valuation survey head of household listings and there were a number of Molloy records including a Patrick Molloy and a Margaret Molloy in Laghy but no James or Ann. Roman Catholic church records for this parish begin in 1866 which is too late for your purposes.

Thank you, Roger.  I appreciate your efforts. It has been a dead end for me searching for James/Anne, but I'll search on, maybe get lucky.

My husband's grandmother is named McDonnell, but haven't even started on her line yet! I think they're from Meath, but that's all I know.

I am researching the same line, my husband is the 5th generation of the Malloy's from the Ottawa Valley from James "Mulloy" ? of Ireland.
