Looking for information on my 4x Great-Grandmother, born December 25: 1796 in Donegal, Ireland to Alexander Coulter (age 31 at her birth), and Eleanor (Elenor) Mahood. The information I have indicates she was baptized on May 28, 1797, in Dromore Parish, Down, Northern Ireland. Betsey next turns up in Cortland, New York, USA, and married to Jacob Van Vleet. I'd love to ask if anyone can find her grave and her parents, and confirm the locations with pictures. I'd love to find more information and even into the next generation. Thank you so much!

Good Morning,
Just checked the names and births on Ancestry.com, and found a possible good clue, of which you may already know, but here it is:
1850 Federal Census for Burrito, Winnebago County New York, pg. 341:
Jacob Can meet ( sic) age 66 (1784 birth) born NY, with Elizabeth ( born Ireland) age 45,
Jacob (jr.) Age 11, Dorcas age 9, William age 7
Dwelling number 58, line 35, family 61.
I shall look for tomb stones and such in Findagrave and other resources.I can send a copy of this doc to you if you wish. Note it was common for a bit of variance in giving the census enumerator ones correct age, it was considered quite a personal question back then, thus Elizabeth's age discrepancy. Also, if not land owners, people moved a lot and quite distant from their base, they sit work and health,band better opportunities; common to be moving every few years.
