The information regarding the graveyards in this parish is misleading. There are FOUR graveyards in the parish ...three RC and one Church of Ireland..
THREE RC GRAVEYARDS
Unfortunately the otherwise excellent site irishgraveyards.ie has misspelled the name of Carrigart graveyards.
.So for Carrigart Old in Umlagh see Carraigard Old and for the current modern graveyard (which is also in Umlagh) see Carraigard . This later graveyard has burials from the 1940s .
The other RC graveyard in Clontallagh is not online but I hope to get it transcribed perhaps next year - it is mostly in Irish

The parish is spelled MEVAGH or MEEVAGH and is sometimes referred to as ROSGUILL.
