Here is the 1866 transcription of the civil birth record for Patrick and indeed his parents were Daniel and Fanny. They lived in Maherlane (Magheralahan) townland.
Regarding the 1897 Fanny Breslin death, it may be the mother of Patrick. Below is the index record. You would have to get a copy of the record from the General Register Office and even then it may not be conclusive since the record shows the townland at death, cause of death and the name of the informant and possibly the relationship of the informant to the deceased.
