I am looking for Henry McKenna, Might be McCanna, or McKinney or variation . Born in 1822. I have a record of him being from Tully. His father might have been named John. Also believe he had a connection to McBride family (maybe Mother's maiden name) He would have left Ireland by 1842 having gone to Canada with the English Army. I have so little information about him or his family. Any help in locating him in records would be greatly appreciated.

The 1857 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Ramoghy parish did not show any McKenna records but there were three McBride records. http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/donegal/raymoghy.htm
You may want to consider autosomal DNA testing.
