Hoping to connect with relatives of Manus BOYLE and Bridget McFADDEN BOYLE who lived in Dungloe, Co. Donegal in the 1800's. Manus was a draper in the town. Manus had a brother Owen. We know of some of their children, John, James, Delia and Hannah. We suspect that Manus passed away sometime in the 1880's because Bridget and most of the children went to the United States around that time. Bridget was born in Fintown, Co Donegal.
If you are connected to this family, please contact me at: Manus and Bridget are my GG Grandparents

Hi
Have you tried the website Donegal Genealogy Resources - The parish of Templecrone I think, is the Parish that Dungloe is located in.

Manus Boyle would be my ggg grandfather.
My father is John Anthony Boyle III. He was born in Philadelphia Pa. 1922. Died 1975.
His father John Anthony II ( my grandfather) was a policeman in Philadelphia. He was married to Marie Beck. She died in 1940 when she was 39.
John Anthony Boyle emigrated to Philadelphia from Donegal in the 1880s. He and his brother James married the O'Donnell sisters, also from Donegal. I have heard John was a policeman in Philadelphia.
Manus and Bridget (McFadden) Boyle were their parents.
