The details I have are as follows James McFadden born about 1802 married Jane Flemming/ Fleming born about 1800 married in Kircubbin in 1818. Immigrated to Amherst Island Canada in mid 1800's Son Robert born in Ireland early 1820's.

You don?t say what denomination your family were. However if they were Presbyterian then the baptism and marriage records for Kirkcubbin start in 1778, and if Church of Ireland (parish of Inishargy) then the records starts in 1783 (with some gaps). Neither set of records appears to be on-line anywhere. However there are copies in PRONI (the public record office) in Belfast where you can view them.

James Mcfaddens daughter Sarah Jane married my gg grandfather James Kilpatrick.
They lived together on a farm where my brother resides to this day. I'd be very interested in sharing any information you have regarding the Mcfaddens.
