Hi
Thank you for your message.
Remember to post as much information as you can with regard to the people you are researching. The more information you post, the more likely it is that one of our volunteers will be able to advise or assist you.
Also include information concerning which sources you may have already used so others may further your search.
Please be patient - as our programme has only begun to rollout across the island of Ireland and volunteers in some areas may not yet be organized.
Please make sure you link anyone else in your family who is interested in their Irish heritage to our site - and indeed anyone else you know of Irish heritage.
Kind regards,

Elizabeth Jamison Martin is my 2nd great grandmother. She was born in Dromore, Down in 1830, married David LITTLE 1856 Presbyterian Church Banbridge, immigrated to US 1856, 'explored' NY state before settling with the rest of the family in Garrett County, MD. I believe her parents to be Joseph and Mary JAMISON MARTIN. Her siblings: Thomas, George, Joseph, and John.
Residences in NY: Ithaca, Tompkins, NY between 1857 and 1858,
in Jamestown, Chautauqua, New York between 1858 and 1863, and New Hartford, Oneida, NY in 1860. Also, family stories report that they lived in Watertown, NY.Thanks to the other responders for their lead to world families ards peninsular which I'll be checking out soon!
