Church of Ireland records begin in 1839. Records for the corresponding Roman Catholic Parish of Balrothery and Balbriggin begin in 1816. As I am sure you are aware, there are a lot of difficulties associated with a family history search in periods before parish records begin.
I assume you have searched Ancestry.com for your ancestor?s name in message boards and family trees posted there and that you are aware of this site?
