I am looking for information on the Sherlock Family who lived on Captain's Lane in Crumlin during the late 1800s/early 1900s. Thanks

Thanks again. When I check the 1901 on-line I find there are gaps e.g. 28 Old Kilmainham is not there but I have seen it on other versions, I will check it again for Captain's Lane.

Just back on the site. I had quite a shock last year when I discovered was not a blood relative of the man I thought was my maternal grandfather. The surprises of DNA. So after years of researching that line, it is void. I have no idea who that grandfather was. The names, Farrelly, Kelly and Farrell are no longer in my tree.

I have now quite a lot of info in my Sherlocks and have connected with new cousins through DNA

Hi Pauline , my grandfather was Dennis Sherlock the youngest of Thomas and Mary Jane . I've found death and birth certificates of the family and researched where my grandfather went to when his mother passed away not long after his birth. He married Mary Fortune . My mother was born Esther Sherlock and was the 2 eldest of 5 , her twin died around 6 months old .
Anthony .
