I am searching for any information on the family of my great great grandmother Ellen Davis born c.1859.
Ellen was born in Dublin and her father's name was George Davis.
Ellen Davis arrived in Auckland, New Zealand on 7th October 1875 on board the ship BRITISH EMPIRE.

There are 2 baptism records of Ellen Davis c 1859 with father George on www.rootsireland.ie/
One is 1859 & the other 1860 - both in CORK.
Could she have sailed from Dublin but haver been born elsewhere?
It costs to view the full record but it will have the parish and MAYBE the mother's name; however, I'm not sure which is the right one.
