I need help finding my roots to Ireland. Here's what I generally know.
Relative Jeremiah Dial was born in Dublin in 1720 and died in Newberry District, South Carolina November 04, 1805. His wife, Margaret Lavender was born in Ireland about 1734, location unknown and died September 05,1808. They married in 1754. Jeremiah immigrated to America in 1772 to Charleston, SC. Jeremiah was a Patriot in the Revolutionary War and was granted land in SC for his service, by King George III on August 31,1774. Margaret Lavender and her son William emigrated prior to 1773 on the ship "Lord Dunluce."

David:
I searched www.irishgenealogy.ie which is a free Irish government site which has Dublin city church records and Roots Ireland (subscription site) which has records for Dublin county outside the city and could not find any baptismal or marriage records for Jeremiah or Margaret or William.
Very few churches have records back to that time period.

Other information that I have about Jeremiah Dial/Margaret Lavender is that they were Irish Protestants. Which Parishes in Dublin were predominately Protestant in this period?

David:
When I searched on the site mentioned above, I did not get any Dial records in the 1700s. The Lavender records I located were in five different Church of Ireland churches as follows:
Not many records survive from the 1700s.
