I have just noticed on 1911 England Census that Thomas was born in Swords, city-Iwade. I cannot find any reference to Iwade in Ireland, any ideas please.Could this be an error or was/is a place called Iwade.

"Iwade" is a mistranscription - if you look at the form it has "Swords, Dublin".
Thank you, I thought so but wondered why they would write Iwade, strange.
