Hello.  I'm trying to find more information on my 2nd great grandparents who were married in Mohill parish on Feb 20 1855.  Thomas Reynolds was born approximately 1820 and Ann Brady was born approximately 1837.  They emigrated to New Haven CT sometime before 1865.  I've hit a dead end and would love to find out anything else about them

Thanks, Melissa

The records for the RC parish of Mohill do not start until the summer of 1836.https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0175   I searched on the subscription site and did not find a baptismal record for Ann Brady in Mohill parish around 1837. Likely she was born and baptized right before when records are available.

The marriage record shows 1855 for the year of marriage.

The 1857 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Mohill parish shows five Thomas Reynolds' records  https://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/leitrim/mohill.htm

We don't know if your Thomas was leasing land at that time.

Have you considered a DNA test? You may get matches with 3rd or 4th cousins on the Reynolds/Brady lines.
