Since you posted in the Cong parish page, I'm assuming your ancestors were from that parish. Unfortunately, RC records for that parish do not start until 1870.

I did check the 1856 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing and there were two Donohoe entries in Nymphsfield townland, a John and a Michael. Possibly the John was the father of Patrick if he lived until at least 1856 and leased land. There were alos three John Gilmore entries in Dringeen Eighter, Middle and Oughter townlands. Coul be three people or one John Gilmore leasing Land in all three townlands.
