This is a day spent racing in currachs. There is a day's racing on each of the three Islands starting in June on Inis Mór. Three persons to each currach is the main race and then there is a race for one person on his/her own and two ladies and one man in another category.This is a very important event on the islands as the islanders train very hard for the races. It is an opportunity for people to mix together. The dates for the races are weather dependent.
