The November members’ walk will be an inspirational journey in the footsteps of Colmcille. Colmcille of Derry, Durrow and Iona had an important connection with Glencolumbcille and the Burren. The walk will be led by Pius Murray. Pius has many years experience leading walks in the Burren and on Inish Oirr. He lives in Corofin, Co. The walk will start at 2pm in the Central Burren and exact location details will be sent to all members of Burrenbeo Trust. Please bring good walking shoes and waterproofs. While the focus of the walk will be on information sharing rather than covering large distances a reasonable level of fitness is required.
