There was an excellent turnout yesterday at Mike Feerick's talk on Ireland Reaching Out at Lackagh Parish Centre. In a very enlightening presentation, Mike outlined the origins of Ireland Reaching Out, its progress and the opportunities for Ireland in developing its Diaspora connections in the coming years. A key point of his talk was the dependence of the project on voluntary effort, and the need for more volunteers to become involved at a local parish level.

We were delighted to welcome Galway minor hurling captain Seán Loftus of Turloughmore, who brought along the Irish Press cup following the All-Ireland victory last weekend.
