patrick carr was born in Ireland on 5th March 1870, he married Bridget Greaney in Newtown, Mass., U.S.A. he emigrated to America in 1894. four siblings also went to U.S.A.
Catherine born 1852, James born 1859, Nora born 1862, Mary 1864.
My grandmother was Maryann Greaney from Gurteen, daughter of Patrick Greaney, also of Gurteen. Patrick was the son of two Greaneys. I am not sure how Bridget fits into my family tree. I have exchanged some information with her granddaughter, and she knows more about the Carrs, so if you would like, I will pass on your information to her.

Do you know much about their emigration? The dates, the reasonwhy they left, who they may have travelled with?..etc..Generally more information was given atthe port of arrival rather than the port of departure.
