A special graveyard blessing will take place on Saturday next at the Gardenfield Children's Graveyard at 4pm.
All members of the public are invited to attend this local event, especially those who may have family members buried in this Lisheen. Prayers will be said for the children buried there and visitors will be asked to sign a guest book with a view to making this an annual event and recording the names of those in the parish who attend. The graveyard is located off the Ballinrobe Road taking the right turn before Tuam's old Sugar factory. Further sign-posting will be available.
Refreshments will be served in the Ard Ri Hotel afterwards.
