I'm searching for my grandfather's connection to Jamsie Ashe of Camp Pub fame. I, with my grandfather Thomas ( Tom Joe ) Ashe visited a few times in the 50's. They knew each other well. I stayed in the corner house opposite the Pub.My grand father was the son of Michael Ashe, from the Ballancnockan area.
Michael Ashe was the son of Thomas Ashe and Bridget Moriarty . The other sons were Thomas, b. 13/11/1833 & John b. 1/12/1838.
I have photographs of my grandfather outside to pub in the 50's.
