this is Anne Baldwin, great great granddaughter of both Denis Loughlin and Maurice Shaughnessy mentioned above.
Denis's son, also Denis, married Maurices daughter, Margaret Shaughnessy in 1881, in the Farmers Bridge area of Kerry.
When they married, both fathers were, reportedly, deceased. I can only guess their mothers were also deceased as
there was no mention of them but this I am not certain.
I believe Denis came and went from the US starting around 1875 and Margaret came in 1883 . By then, they had two
children, Norah in 1881 and young Denis in 1883. I would be very interested in learning why they came to the US, why
they settled in Granville, NY and who, if anyone, gave them support after they arrived in the US. Additionally, I have no
idea where they left from nor where they arrived.
I am slowly learning genealogical sources and little by little have learned a bit here and there,
From what I can gather, both families lived in Lisardboula ( Lissardboula ?) , Ballyseedy and Farmers Bridge.
Maurice Shaughnessy and Margaret Glaven had three children in the above stated areas plus Caherleen (?). One son,
James, was born in 1856 in County Cork.
Regarding research, the Parish system is confusing. I can see that it can be civil or religious.
Would love to have communication w other families from the areas mentioned.

The closest cemetery is the Church of Ireland cemetery in Ballyseedy. There are two section to this, a new cemetery which is beside the existing church and a nearby older section. This is the primary cemetery for the COI community, but some local catholics are also buried there.
The parish of Ballymacelligott has catholic cemetries at Nohoval (very old), Clogher (new) and O'Brennan (old). Many catholics in this area, though, were probably buried Rath cemetery in Tralee, which is located on the Eastern side of the town and thus very close to this area.
