I come directly from him, who emigrated to Bilbao, in the north of Spain, with his wife Catherine Gold ( or Gould) from County Cork, in Ireland, but she was of English ancestors also.

Dominican priest and prior of Tralee, was a native of Castle Drum, Co. Kerry, on the Dingle peninsula .
His family were the ancient lords of Aos Aisde along the banks of the River Mang. Moriarty's father was said to be the head of the local Moriarty clan.

Jonh Moriarty had many fiars in his family, and they where dominican friars, as Thaddeus was.
