Timothy Gahan/Guinee/Gaheen/Gehan, his wife Mary, and children Catherine born or baptized April 10, 1822; Jeremiah/Jerey/Jerry born or baptized August 20, 1828; Patrick born or baptized c 1831 left the Dingle area and moved to Nova Scotia, Canada we think in the 1830s.  Timothy's father's name may have been Thomas.

Timothy Gehan would have been my great-great-great grandfather.

If there are any relatives in Ireland looking for this family, I would appreciate their contacting me.

    Perhaps you could try also placing this message in a local forum in Dingle, so that if there are any family still in the area there may be a greater chance of them seeing it and making a connection?
