My grandmother Mary E. Shea was born in Ireland about 1866. Her parents were Daniel and Mary MacCarthy. She emigrated to the United States about 1879. I believe she was born on Rosmore Island, County Kerry Jan 7, 1866. I don't know more about her family but would appreciate greatly any info about this family.

My Grandfather was Jeremiah Shea (or O'Shea) - he was born on Rossmore Island and is the son of Daniel Shea and Mary McCarthy and I too have been looking for info on his family - I do have some research complete and if you have any family info I would be willing to share with you.
