I have obtained the archived valuation documents for the townland of Deelis in the Civil Parish of Killiney on the Dingle peninsula....Deelis is just southeast of Castlegregory. My original purpose was to find any living Rohan relatives from my direct line( Timothy Rohan and Johanna Moore) and to learn if possible the names of the parents of Timothy Rohan...
In looking at these documents I saw that there were several Rohan families in Deelis, among them ones headed by John Rohan, Patrick Rohan, Michael Rohan and Thomas Rohan as well as my great great great grandfather Timothy.....now I wonder if these families all living in a fairly small area might all be related in one way or another either as siblings to my Timothy or at least cousins....if anyone is familiar with Deelis and or the Rohan families I'd love to hear from you...
Others connected to Timothy Rohan are Thomas O'Donoghoe(sp?) and Michael Crean.
Timothy and his wife Johanna would have been born mostly likely in the 1820's...

Welcome back!
The online Irish phone book has one Rohan listing in Deelis and another in Castlegreory http://www.eirphonebook.ie/# Make sure you use the Residential Tab.
The records for Castlegregory/Killiney RC parish start in late 1828 http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0660 Also, www.irishgenealogy.ie has the records for Castlegregory/Killiney parish and there were 857 Rohan records including many in Deelis just on the first page of records. The 1901 census has two Rohan families in Deelis

I may have mentioned this before, you may want to consider autosomal DNA testing.
