Hi
I'm ;looking to try and find out what happened to the two eldest sons of Patrick Connor & Elizabeth Deen, Michael Connor baptised
Area - KERRY (RC) , Parish/Church/Congregation - CASTLEGREGORY
Baptism of MICHAEL CONNOR of KEELBALLYLAHIFF on 23 February 1847
and Thomas Connor baptised
Area - KERRY (RC) , Parish/Church/Congregation - CASTLEGREGORY
Baptism of THOMAS CONNOR of KEELBALLYLAHIFF on 6 June 1849
Area - KERRY (RC) , Parish/Church/Congregation - CASTLEGREGORY
Also Mary Connor baptised
Baptism of MARY CONNOR of CLAHANESISKEEN on 23 June 1861
(please note we know her Mother was Elizabeth Deen, not Ellen Deen, its a transcription error, the microfishe is difficult to read).
I have details of and I'm in contact with the descendants of the other 7 children, my Great Grandfather was Francis, 4th son of Patrick & Elizabeth, 4 sons including Francis, came to NZ, George drowned, the second Patrick (Maurice) went back to Kerry and married Ellen (Helen) Corkery, James and Francis's descendants are here in NZ.
I would really appreciate your help in trying to find them, I have also found Patrick's parents ( Michael Connor & Ellen Barry, Annascaul) but looking for Elizabeth's Deens parents & any siblings, a lot to ask, but I would love to solve the puzzles, also include them in my book about the family tree I'm writing so the information is not lost again..
Cheers

Hi Maureen, it's good to be in touch again. did the Maunsells get back to you?
I think your next step though a time consuming one is to check the 1901 Census. There are Connor's there in 1901
and also Deen's
Warm wishes

and I have been through the census quite a few times, both 1901 & 1911, but worth looking at again
you never know!!
