I`ve done my tree on ancestry a few years ago and got as far 2nd great grand parents in ireland Michael patrick and Ellen in Listowel. Don`t know if there were any siblings but My great grand father was Michael Patrick jr and emigrated to I believe philadelphia then south amboy NJ where the name change to Fitzmorris was made. From there I have a pretty good track of the family tree but as far in Ireland I am lost at Michael and Ellen Fitz-Maurice. Any help or information to steer me in the right direction would be appreciated? I also have no idea what parish or how to determine what parish it would be? Thanks, John.

Hi John, I have been asked to look at old queries on the site and while you have not indicated an approximate year I see an Ellen and Patrick born to a Michal and Margaret Carroll in 1807 and 1809 in the parish of Causeway (Killury) adjoining parish to Listowel. The townland is transcribed as Adargouin which I think is this one here in the Barony of Clanmaurice.
