I’m looking for information on Peter Coffey and Honorah Doyle, married in Templenoe/Dourrus in February 1839. They had about six k own children and lived I believe in a small plot on or very near the Dunkerron Castle area. Their oldest was Jeremiah born 1848 and next as far as I know, Timothy born 1852 or 53. Then several others (Catherine, Patrick, Peter, Michael who was born in Dereendaragh down the road from Dourrus, unlike the others)
Jeremiah and Timothy are the only ones I for certain know came to the US. We think they came in 1860, Jeremiah was 11 and Timothy 7. We think they first came to Newburyport Mass.and ended up in Hartford CT when they married and started families.
i don’t know who they came with although there was a neighbor they might have come with( Denis Ryan? speculation on my part)
I’d love to find out who they came with( maybe even their parents, I just don’t have enough information) and why they came and who they lived with when in Newburyport.
