Searching for family of Flitton and Lemon

It looks like the marriage was probably in England in 1878 - Stoke Dameral district in Devon, index refs are - Dec Qtr. 1878 / Volume 5b / Page 571

Marriage cert should show details of father's, i.e. names and occupations, to help with any search back for earlier details of John and Elizabeth. A likely match for them on the 1881 English census shows both John (listed as a soldier) and Elizabeth in Devon and listed as born Pimlico, London, and a son John age 1 born Devonport, Devon

p.s. there's a public tree on Ancestry with a copy of the marriage cert - date is 11 Dec. 1878, in the Parish Church Stoke Dameral (Devon), the groom age 27 and occupation 'Army Hospital Corps', address Military Hospital, bride Elizabeth is shown as age 20 with residence of Beckenham, Kent. Groom's father is John a bootmaker, and the bride's father David a butler. If you dont have an Ancestry account, then you should be able to see the same details on the Mundia website which is free.
