My great great grandfather, James Andrew Sargent, was born in 1818 in Kildare to parents William and Martha Sargent - William is a "Farmer" according to James' death certificate. That is all I kinow about James forebears and would like assistance to find out about his family.

Looking for any info on Denis Sargent, sometimes spelled Sargeant, listed as age 5 on the 1911 Census with father William, mother Elizabeth, We think this was an family he was adopted into or taken in as his mother was Ellen Sullivan, unwed & at the Mallow workhouse at the time of his birth. Sister Louisa Francis Sargent who is age l on the 1911 Census, she eventually married a McCarthy.
Denis Sargent immigrated to Australia in 1927 and then to Canada.
Any info would be appreciated,
