 William Moore is my second great grandfather.  I believe he was born in the UK but moved to Kildare Ireland when he was young.  His wife, Mary, was also born in Ireland, I believe in Wicklow.  I am not sure if they married in Ireland or the US.  I know that by 1850 they lived in New York, NY, USA.  I think Mary was born around 1830 and William about 1827.  I would appreciate any info you have on other family members.

    There are 2 baptismal records of William Moore in Kildare om www.rootsireland.ie/

    One is 1827 and the other 1828

    The parish of both records is Monastervin R C - perhaps it's the same record twice

    You would have to ourchase the record to get the parents' names (sometimes they are not on the record though)

    There are 3 marriages of William Moore and a Mary in Kildare but they are all too late: 1878, 1879 & 1886

    As Mary was from Wicklow the marriage would probably have been there if in Ireland

    There are 5 marriage records of William Mooore and Mary in Wicklow:

    1796 1827 1839 1868 & 1897
