Hi,
I am trying to trace back a relative from Newbridge, Kildare. Emily Jane Scoular, she was born about 1839 and came to Australia as an assisted passenger in 1862. Her town of birth is listed on her marriage certificate in Victoria. I believe her parents were Peter Scoular & Angus Muirhead. Any information or directions would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to find a baptismal record for Emily in Roots Ireland in Co. Kildare with no success. I looked at the Griffiths Valuation for all of Ireland and did not find the surname anywhere. I looked at the 1901 census and there was a Deborah Scoular in Cork city (age 31). Deborah was born in Scotland.
